We have some invited guests for today's briefing.

The way I'd like to structure this is we're going to have Assistant Secretary Maura Harty, who is our assistant secretary for consular affairs, and Brigadier General Barbero, who is the deputy director for regional operations of the Joint Chiefs of Staff over at the Pentagon. That's J-3 for all of you civilians.

They are going to conduct a joint briefing to answer your questions regarding what the United States government is doing on behalf of American citizens in Lebanon who want to leave. They can give you and overview of our operations there and what our plans are, and...
