[*] BIDEN: First of all, I think Senator Obama's got it profoundly right, that now's the time to start to recenter our foreign policy by beginning a responsible redeployment of American combat troops.

Quite frankly, I've known John for over 32 years. I don't understand anything about John's policy here.

John talks about the central concern is the war on terror, yet it's in Afghanistan. Al Qaida -- we know where they live. We know where they're building, in Afghanistan and Pakistan. And John's policy in Iraq prevents us from having a larger strategy to deal with that.

And then, in terms of his policy in Iraq, Barack has laid out clearly how and why he'd go about implementing this policy.

I don't understand the strategy of John's policy. I don't know what he's talking about, other than more of the same. I don't hear anything about a political settlement. I don't hear anything about the need to redeploy.
