[*] CLINTON: Thank you all. I'm delighted to be here with my colleague, Senator Dodd -- Senator Kennedy will be joining us, and with our colleagues from the House, Representatives Clyburn and Sanchez.

We are here united behind a very simple principle. We actually believe in making democracy work better for America, not just for one political party or the other.

There are certain values that should be sacrosanct, you know, that transcend politics and partisanship. And those are really at the core of our constitutional democracy. And that is the unimpeded, undeterred, untaxed, unrestricted right to vote.
